Astrid Lindgren cared about the welfare of all children and especially those in need. He envisioned a hospital where children would not only receive the best possible care, but they could feel comfortable, even during their stay there. To support this vision she lent her name to a hospital, which was inaugurated the 1998. The Foundation for Astrid Children's Hospital, through generous donations, has improved the experience for children and their families during their hospital visits. The 2009 the Stiffe teddy bear was created through the collaboration of Teddy Kompaniet and the foundation. Thanks to everyone who buys Stiffe teddy bears every year, we can help create a more pleasant hospital experience for children.
